Kasla, the Broken Halo costs {3}{U}{R}{W}, is a 5/4 with convoke, flying, vigilance and haste. Whenever you cast another spell that has convoke, you scry 2, then draw a card. Every convoke spell you cast is a scry and a card, and tapping creatures to pay for them is free.
The precon already has the convoke spells, including Wildfire Awakener, Wand of the Worldsoul, Saint Traft and Rem Karolus and Meeting of Minds. Each swap below pairs a cut with an add, and every card is scored with the same numbers the Oracle uses to build decks: synergy and inclusion from the Kasla decks, plus lift, which shows how much more often a card turns up in Kasla decks than in decks that could play it.

What is holding the deck back
Not enough ways to give spells convoke
Invasion of Segovia, Dazzling Theater and The Wandering Rescuer give noncreature or creature spells convoke or have it, so every one is a Kasla trigger. They are among the top-scoring cards the precon leaves out.
More convoke spells and token makers
Transcendent Message, Zephyr Singer, Knight-Errant of Eos, Unexpected Assistance and Triplicate Spirits all have convoke, and Third Path Iconoclast and Jeskai Ascendancy turn noncreature spells into tokens and cards.
Rocks and cards that do not fit
Ichor Elixir and Fractured Powerstone are tied to planar dice, and Deluxe Dragster, Angel of Finality, Spirited Companion and Wrenn's Resolve do not have convoke and are each played in about one Kasla deck in eight or fewer.
The 14 swaps
Each pair shows the numbers for the card coming out and the card going in. Click a card image to zoom.

Ichor Elixir is a four-mana rock that taps for {C}{C} and changes planar dice. It is played in about one Kasla deck in seventeen.
Invasion of Segovia is a Siege for {2}{U} that creates two 1/1 Kraken tokens with trample when it enters. When it is defeated, it transforms into Caetus, a creature that gives your noncreature spells convoke and untaps up to four creatures at your end step. It is the highest-scoring card the precon leaves out.

Fractured Powerstone is a two-mana rock that rolls the planar die. It is played in about one Kasla deck in fourteen.
Dazzling Theater is a Room for {3}{W}: creature spells you cast have convoke, and its other half, Prop Room for {2}{W}, untaps each creature you control during each other player's untap step. Every creature spell becomes a Kasla trigger.

Flight of Equenauts is an eight-mana 4/5 flier with convoke. It is played in about one Kasla deck in ten.
The Wandering Rescuer is a 3/4 double strike creature for {3}{W}{W} with flash and convoke. Other tapped creatures you control have hexproof, and your convoked creatures are tapped. A cheaper convoke creature that protects the tapped team.

Angel of Finality is a 3/4 flier for {3}{W} that exiles a graveyard. It is played in about one Kasla deck in nine.
Jeskai Ascendancy costs {U}{R}{W}. Whenever you cast a noncreature spell, creatures you control get +1/+1 and untap, and you may loot. Untapping the creatures you tapped to convoke, and it is a card for every spell.

Spirited Companion is a 1/1 enchantment creature for {1}{W} that draws a card. It is played in about one Kasla deck in eight.
Transcendent Message costs {X}{U}{U}{U}{U} with convoke. It draws X cards. A big draw spell that your creatures pay for, and a Kasla trigger.

Deluxe Dragster is a five-mana Vehicle that casts a spell from a player's graveyard when it connects. It is played in about one Kasla deck in eight.
Third Path Iconoclast is a 2/1 Human Monk for {U}{R}. Whenever you cast a noncreature spell, you create a 1/1 Soldier artifact creature token. A two-drop that makes a body to tap for convoke every spell.

Banisher Priest is a 2/2 for {1}{W}{W} that exiles a creature until it leaves. It is played in about one Kasla deck in eight.
Zephyr Singer is a 3/4 flying, vigilance creature for {2}{U}{U} with convoke. When it enters, you put a flying counter on each creature that convoked it. A flier that gives the team wings, and a Kasla trigger.

Goblin Medics is a 1/1 for {2}{R} that pings whenever it becomes tapped. It is played in about one Kasla deck in eight.
Knight-Errant of Eos is a 4/4 for {4}{W} with convoke. When it enters, you look at the top six cards and may reveal up to two creature cards with mana value X or less, where X is the number of creatures that convoked it. Convoke pays for itself, and finds creatures.

Wrenn's Resolve exiles the top two cards of your library for you to play. It is played in about one Kasla deck in eight.
Unexpected Assistance costs {3}{U}{U} with convoke at instant speed: you draw three cards, then discard a card. A card-filtering spell that taps creatures for mana and triggers Kasla.

Cultivator's Caravan is a three-mana Vehicle that taps for any color. It is played in about one Kasla deck in eight.
Triplicate Spirits costs {4}{W}{W} with convoke and creates three 1/1 white Spirit creature tokens with flying. Three more bodies to tap, and a Kasla trigger.

Duergar Hedge-Mage is a 2/2 for {2}{R/W} that destroys an artifact or enchantment if you control two Mountains or Plains. It is played in about one Kasla deck in eight.
City on Fire costs {5}{R}{R}{R} with convoke. If a source you control would deal damage to a permanent or player, it deals triple that damage instead. With tokens paying for it, it is a three-mana enchantment that triples every attacker. It is the highest-scoring card the precon leaves out.

Cloud of Faeries is a 1/1 flier for {1}{U} that untaps two lands and cycles. It is played in about one Kasla deck in six.
Bennie Bracks, Zoologist is a 3/2 Elf Druid for {3}{W} with convoke. At the beginning of each end step, if you created a token this turn, you draw a card. A convoke creature that draws whenever the deck makes tokens.

Tetsuko Umezawa, Fugitive is a 1/3 for {1}{U} that makes small creatures unblockable. It is played in about one Kasla deck in five.
Clever Concealment is an instant for {2}{W}{W} with convoke. Any number of target nonland permanents you control phase out. A convoke spell for Kasla that saves the whole team from a sweeper.

Path of the Ghosthunter is an X spell that makes Spirit tokens and has a vote. It is played in about one Kasla deck in five.
Calamity of Cinders costs {5}{R}{R} with convoke. It deals 6 damage to each untapped creature. Your creatures are tapped from convoking, so it is a one-sided sweeper, and a convoke spell for Kasla.

How the numbers work
Inclusion is the share of Kasla, the Broken Halo decks (4,117 of them when this was written, 2026-10-27) that play the card. Synergy is how much more often they play it than other decks in the same colours. Oracle score is synergy × 0.6 plus inclusion × 0.4, the same blend The Oracle uses to rank cards for a deck. Lift compares how often the card appears in these decks with how often it could, capped at 8× here; it is shown for context and does not change the score.
Two cautions. Players who run the precon unmodified count as Kasla decks, which flatters every card the precon contains. Lift is high for many convoke cards because few decks play them outside a convoke deck, so use lift to compare cards, not to judge one in isolation. Prices are the cheapest non-foil paper printing on TCGplayer (via Scryfall), in USD, and move daily.
