Overview
Cabaretti Cacophony is a go-wide deck with a mischievous commander. Kitt Kanto, Mayhem Diva creates a 1/1 green and white Citizen token when she enters. At the beginning of combat on each player's turn, you may tap two untapped creatures you control, and when you do, target creature that player controls gets +2/+2 and gains trample until end of turn, and you goad it. You can use it to push damage through yourself or to make an opponent attack someone else.
The 99 cards are 22 creatures, 8 artifacts, 10 enchantments, 10 instants, 11 sorceries and 38 lands. The creatures include alliance creatures that trigger whenever another creature enters, such as Rose Room Treasurer, Sizzling Soloist, Rumor Gatherer and Boss's Chauffeur, and token makers such as Scute Swarm, Master of Ceremonies and Phabine, Boss's Confidant. The enchantments and sorceries add more bodies, including Assemble the Legion, Prosperous Partnership, Felidar Retreat and Sylvan Offering.
Key Cards
Playing the Deck
The early game is about mana and a first token. Sol Ring, Arcane Signet, Fellwar Stone, Leafkin Druid, Wood Elves and Sakura-Tribe Elder ramp you, Awakening Zone makes a 0/1 Eldrazi Spawn each upkeep, and Orzhov Advokist lets each player put counters on a creature. Kitt Kanto, Mayhem Diva and Prosperous Partnership start the Citizens.
The middle of the game is about making a lot of creatures and getting alliance triggers. Assemble the Legion makes more Soldiers every upkeep, Felidar Retreat makes Cats or counters on lands, Intangible Virtue makes your tokens bigger, and Scepter of Celebration makes Citizens when the equipped creature connects. Killer Service turns tokens into 4/4 Rhino Warriors, and Idol of Oblivion draws a card when you have made a token.
The late game is about a huge attack. Gahiji, Honored One makes every attacker bigger, Thunderfoot Baloth gives your team +2/+2 and trample while your commander is on the battlefield, Vivien's Stampede gives vigilance, trample and melee, and Crash the Party makes a 4/4 Rhino Warrior for each tapped creature. Cabaretti Confluence, Camaraderie and Martial Coup give you more options when you need them.
Strengths & Weaknesses
Strengths: The deck produces a lot of bodies, has plenty of mana, and has several ways to turn tokens into damage or cards. It also has strong interaction and politics, including Path to Exile, Beast Within, Seize the Spotlight, Bloodthirsty Blade and Kazuul, Tyrant of the Cliffs, which punishes opponents who attack you.
Weaknesses: A board of small tokens is vulnerable to sweepers, and the deck's goad plan is less useful in a two-player game or when opponents have no creatures. Many of its best cards are expensive, and some, such as Life of the Party, give opponents a token as well as you.
