Overview
Chaos Incarnate is a group-chaos deck that wants opponents fighting each other. Kardur, Doomscourge is a Demon Berserker, and when he enters, until your next turn creatures your opponents control attack each combat if able and attack a player other than you if able. Whenever an attacking creature dies, each opponent loses 1 life and you gain 1 life.
The 99 cards are 22 creatures, 1 planeswalker, 10 artifacts, 4 enchantments, 8 instants, 14 sorceries and 40 lands. The creatures include Demons such as Archfiend of Depravity, Bloodgift Demon and Indulgent Tormentor, and burn creatures such as Guttersnipe and Thermo-Alchemist. The rest of the deck is full of effects that hit every player, such as Spiteful Visions, Explosion of Riches, Blasphemous Act and Dictate of the Twin Gods.
Key Cards
Playing the Deck
The early game is about mana and cheap threats. Sol Ring, Arcane Signet, Rakdos Signet, Talisman of Indulgence, Worn Powerstone and Commander's Sphere provide mana, Wayfarer's Bauble, Burnished Hart and Solemn Simulacrum fetch lands, and Stormfist Crusader, Vampire Nighthawk and Thermo-Alchemist come down cheaply. Lightning Greaves can protect your best creature.
The middle of the game is about making the table fight and drawing cards. Kardur forces attacks, Kazuul, Tyrant of the Cliffs punishes attackers, and cards like Bloodgift Demon, Indulgent Tormentor, Theater of Horrors and Ob Nixilis Reignited give you card advantage. Sangromancer and Scythe Specter drain or disrupt opponents, and Tectonic Giant can deal 3 damage to each opponent whenever it attacks or is targeted by an opponent's spell.
The late game is about taking over the board and finishing. Rakshasa Debaser and Sepulchral Primordial steal creatures from graveyards, Reign of the Pit turns sacrifices into a flying Demon, and Magmatic Force deals 3 damage to any target at the beginning of each upkeep. Blasphemous Act, Deadly Tempest and Fiery Confluence clear the board, and Breath of Malfegor and Profane Command finish games.
Strengths & Weaknesses
Strengths: The deck has a lot of interaction, including Terminate, Unlicensed Disintegration, Abrade, Chaos Warp and Soul Shatter, and a lot of card draw and drain.
Weaknesses: Many of the deck's best cards are symmetrical, so they can also help your opponents, and several cost you life as well, such as Read the Bones and Ambition's Cost. The deck has only 22 creatures and a lot of expensive spells, so it can be slow against fast decks.
