Enduring Enchantments Commander Precon Guide
What is buried does not stay buried.
Enduring Enchantments is the Abzan enchantment precon from Commander Masters, led by Anikthea, Hand of Erebos. She turns enchantments in your graveyard into Enchantment Creature token copies, giving the enchantress archetype a graveyard recursion engine that keeps value flowing even after board wipes.

Overview
Enduring Enchantments takes the classic enchantress archetype and adds a graveyard dimension. Anikthea, Hand of Erebos has menace and an attack trigger: when she attacks, for each non-Aura enchantment in your graveyard (up to three), you create an Enchantment Creature token that is a copy of it. Those tokens have haste and are exiled at the beginning of the next end step.
This creates a recurring engine every turn Anikthea attacks. Powerful enchantments in the graveyard — Sphere of Safety, Smothering Tithe, enchantresses — become hasty creatures for a combat, triggering their enter-the-battlefield effects again if relevant. The deck wants to fill its graveyard with enchantments through normal play and incidental discard, then recur that value every turn Anikthea swings.
Key Cards
Weaver of Harmony
Trigger Copier · Enchantment Synergy
Other enchantment creatures you control get +1/+1. You may pay two generic mana to copy a triggered ability of an enchantment you control. Weaver of Harmony is exceptional in this deck: paying two mana copies any constellation trigger, any enchantress draw ability, or any other enchantment trigger on the stack. On a board full of enchantments, it effectively doubles the output of the entire engine for two mana per activation, and the +1/+1 bonus buffs all the token copies Anikthea creates.
Sterling Grove
Protection · Tutor
Enchantments you control have shroud. Sacrifice Sterling Grove: search your library for an enchantment card, shuffle, then put it on top. Sterling Grove protects your entire enchantment engine from targeted removal until you are ready to sacrifice it to find whatever enchantment you need most. Its dual role as protection and tutor makes it one of the most versatile enchantment support cards ever printed and a natural inclusion in any enchantress build.
Sphere of Safety
Defensive Wall · Enchantment Payoff
Creatures can't attack you or planeswalkers you control unless their controller pays X for each attacking creature, where X is the number of enchantments you control. In a deck designed to accumulate enchantments, Sphere of Safety quickly makes attacking you prohibitively expensive — by the time you control eight or ten enchantments, opponents must pay 8 or more extra mana just to attack. When Anikthea creates a token copy of a Sphere in the graveyard, the token brings a second instance of the tax.
Necromancy
Instant-Speed Reanimation · Enchantment Type
You may cast Necromancy as though it had flash. When it enters, if it came in as an instant, you may reanimate a target creature from any graveyard. If Necromancy leaves the battlefield, the creature is sacrificed. As an enchantment, it counts toward Anikthea's graveyard pool, can be tutored with Sterling Grove, and contributes to Sphere of Safety's tax. Its instant-speed reanimation of any creature from any graveyard is powerful interaction that also advances the enchantment count.
Playing the Deck
Enduring Enchantments plays through two phases. The first phase fills the graveyard with enchantments by casting a steady stream of enchantress spells and accepting the natural attrition of your permanents being destroyed. Board wipes that hit enchantments accelerate this plan rather than set it back, since Anikthea converts those destroyed enchantments into a graveyard pool for future attacks.
The second phase begins when Anikthea attacks for the first time with three or more enchantments in the graveyard. Each attack creates up to three hasty Enchantment Creature tokens from the graveyard copies, which can trigger constellation effects, activate enter-the-battlefield abilities, and apply combat pressure all at once. Weaver of Harmony in play doubles the value of every trigger those token copies produce.
Protecting Anikthea is the deck's primary defensive concern. Equipping her with Lightning Greaves or Swiftfoot Boots keeps the engine online, and Sterling Grove protects the broader enchantment suite. The closing mechanism is usually a combination of wide token attacks and the progressive tax from Sphere of Safety locking opponents out of attacking back.
Strengths & Weaknesses
Strengths: Anikthea is uniquely resilient to board wipes for an enchantress commander. Opponents who wrath the board feed her graveyard rather than shutting the deck down, and the ability to generate three hasty creatures from the graveyard every combat makes the deck surprisingly aggressive despite its graveyard focus. Black gives the deck access to removal and tutors that pure Green-White enchantress builds lack.
Weaknesses: The deck requires Anikthea on the field and attacking to generate its main engine, making her a recurring removal target. Graveyard hate directly undermines the token generation plan. The deck is also slow to establish: it needs both enchantments in the graveyard and Anikthea on the battlefield to function at full power, which represents a two-piece dependency that faster decks can exploit.
Verdict
Enduring Enchantments is a thoughtfully designed precon that gives the enchantress archetype a genuinely new angle. Anikthea's graveyard conversion is novel and satisfying: the deck rewards players who lean into the sacrifice and rebuild loop rather than trying to protect every enchantment. The reprints (Weaver of Harmony, Sterling Grove, Sphere of Safety, Necromancy) are each excellent individual cards. The deck plays with more resilience than most enchantress builds at the precon level and improves naturally with additional constellation triggers and enchantment-based removal.
