Overview
Everyone's Invited is built around a simple trick: when a creature is every creature type, any tribal payoff you own works for it. Morophon, the Boundless is a changeling himself. As he enters you choose a creature type, spells of that type you cast cost {W}{U}{B}{R}{G} less (this only reduces coloured mana), and your other creatures of the chosen type get +1/+1.
The 99 cards are 36 creatures, 5 artifacts, 6 enchantments, 8 instants, 7 sorceries and 37 lands. Seventeen of the creatures are Shapeshifters, including changelings such as Mothdust Changeling, Taurean Mauler and Graveshifter, which count as every type. The rest are legendary creatures and Slivers, Elementals, Cats and Dryads that give the deck other things to do. Every card is a reprint.
Key Cards
Playing the Deck
The early game is about ramp and the first changelings. Cultivate, Kodama's Reach and Farseek help a five-colour mana base, Sol Ring and Arcane Signet speed you up, and cheap changelings like Universal Automaton, Mothdust Changeling and Guardian Gladewalker fill the board. Morophon himself costs {7}, so the early turns are best spent building the board he will later pump.
The middle of the game is about making every creature count. Arcane Adaptation adds a chosen type to all your creatures, Maskwood Nexus makes them every type, and payoffs such as Kindred Discovery, Distant Melody (which draws a card for each permanent you control of the chosen type) and Realmwalker (which lets you cast creature spells of a chosen type from the top of your library) turn that into cards. Tendershoot Dryad and Avenger of Zendikar add whole armies of tokens, and Rukarumel, Biologist makes your nontoken creatures the chosen type.
The deck closes with one big turn, or by resetting the board on your own terms. Mirror Entity makes the whole team huge, Kindred Dominance destroys all creatures that are not of the chosen type, and Raise the Palisade returns all creatures that are not of the chosen type to their owners' hands. Once your creatures are the chosen type, which changelings always are, these effects only hit your opponents.
Strengths & Weaknesses
Strengths: Because so many cards are every creature type, almost every tribal payoff in the deck works on almost every creature, and most of your creatures benefit from Morophon, Coat of Arms and Kindred Discovery at once. The deck also has ramp, removal such as Beast Within, Pongify, Crib Swap and Nameless Inversion, and a counterspell in Arcane Denial.
Weaknesses: The deck is five colours with only Sol Ring and Arcane Signet as mana rocks, so it relies on its lands and ramp spells to cast spells in every colour. Several of its biggest effects, including Morophon, Kindred Dominance and Avenger of Zendikar, cost seven mana each, and the deck wants to build a board first, so it can be slow against fast decks. A board wipe at the wrong moment also hurts a deck that wants a wide board.
