Overview
Guided by Nature is a mono-green Elf deck led by a planeswalker. Freyalise, Llanowar's Fury can be your commander and enters with three loyalty. Its +2 creates a 1/1 green Elf Druid creature token with "{T}: Add {G}", its -2 destroys target artifact or enchantment, and its -6 draws a card for each green creature you control. Each turn she makes another Elf and more mana.
The 99 cards are 37 creatures, 10 artifacts, 3 enchantments, 2 instants, 10 sorceries and 37 lands. The Elves include lords such as Elvish Archdruid, Imperious Perfect and Joraga Warcaller, mana Elves such as Llanowar Elves, Elvish Mystic and Priest of Titania, and token makers such as Lys Alana Huntmaster and Hunting Triad. The deck also has some very big creatures, such as Terastodon, Siege Behemoth, Soul of the Harvest and Rampaging Baloths, and it finishes with sorceries such as Overrun and Overwhelming Stampede.
Key Cards
Playing the Deck
The early game is about mana Elves. Llanowar Elves, Elvish Mystic, Priest of Titania, Farhaven Elf, Wood Elves and Sylvan Ranger ramp you, and Sol Ring, Moss Diamond and Emerald Medallion speed you up. Elvish Visionary and Masked Admirers replace themselves.
The middle of the game is about lords and tokens. Freyalise, Llanowar's Fury makes an Elf each turn, Elvish Archdruid, Imperious Perfect and Joraga Warcaller pump the team, Lys Alana Huntmaster and Hunting Triad make bodies, and Immaculate Magistrate and Timberwatch Elf give counters or pumps. Primordial Sage and Soul of the Harvest draw cards.
The late game is about huge creatures and a big attack. Terastodon, Creeperhulk, Wren's Run Packmaster and Titania, Protector of Argoth are big threats, Overrun, Overwhelming Stampede and Ezuri, Renegade Leader power up a massive attack, and Collective Unconscious and Grim Flowering refill your hand.
Strengths & Weaknesses
Strengths: The deck is very consistent thanks to its mono-coloured mana and plenty of ramp, and it can win quickly with a team of pumped Elves. It also has answers for artifacts, enchantments and flyers, including Reclamation Sage, Thornweald Archer, Silklash Spider, Tornado Elemental, Whirlwind and Desert Twister.
Weaknesses: The deck is mono-green, so it has few answers to a sweeper or to a lot of removal, and most of its creatures are small. It has only two instants, so it cannot interact on an opponent's turn, and Wave of Vitriol hurts your own artifacts and enchantments.
