Overview

Legends' Legacy is a deck of legendary creatures led by a planeswalker. Dihada, Binder of Wills is a legendary planeswalker that can be your commander. Her +2 gives up to one target legendary creature vigilance, lifelink and indestructible until your next turn, her -3 reveals the top four cards of your library and puts the legendary ones into your hand and the rest into your graveyard (with a Treasure for each card put into the graveyard), and her -11 gains control of all nonland permanents until end of turn.

The 99 cards are 28 creatures, 17 artifacts, 1 enchantment, 7 instants, 7 sorceries and 39 lands. All 28 of the creatures are legendary, along with many of the artifacts, so legendary payoffs such as Arvad the Cursed, Day of Destiny, Heroes' Podium and Shanid, Sleepers' Scourge work with almost the whole deck. A few legendary sorceries, such as Urza's Ruinous Blast and Primevals' Glorious Rebirth, need a legendary creature or planeswalker to cast and favour a deck like this.

Key Cards

◈
Arvad the Cursed
Lord · Deathtouch
A 3/3 for {3}{W}{B}. It has deathtouch and lifelink, and other legendary creatures you control get +2/+2. In a deck where every creature is legendary, it makes the whole team much bigger.
◈
Day of Destiny
Anthem
An enchantment for {3}{W}. Legendary creatures you control get +2/+2. It stacks with Arvad, and it is a permanent bonus for every creature in the deck.
◈
Heroes' Podium
Anthem · Card Advantage
An artifact for {5}. Each legendary creature you control gets +1/+1 for each other legendary creature you control. For {X} and a tap, you can also look at the top X cards of your library and take a legendary creature card.
◈
Urza's Ruinous Blast
One-Sided Sweeper
A sorcery for {4}{W}. Exile all nonland permanents that aren't legendary. You can cast a legendary sorcery only if you control a legendary creature or planeswalker, and because most of this deck's permanents are legendary, it mostly exiles your opponents' permanents.

Playing the Deck

The early game is about mana and cheap legends. Sol Ring, Arcane Signet, Fellwar Stone, Hedron Archive, Honor-Worn Shaku and Commander's Sphere ramp you, and Anafenza, Kin-Tree Spirit, Alesha, Who Smiles at Death, Kari Zev, Skyship Raider, Krenko, Tin Street Kingpin and Captain Lannery Storm are efficient early legends. Oketra's Monument, Bontu's Monument and Hazoret's Monument make creature spells cost {1} less in their colours.

The middle of the game is about stacking anthems and drawing cards. Shanid, Sleepers' Scourge draws a card whenever you cast a legendary spell or play a legendary land, Cadric, Soul Kindler copies legendary permanents, and The Peregrine Dynamo copies abilities from other legendary sources. Hero's Blade attaches itself to each legendary creature that enters, and The Circle of Loyalty makes Knights whenever you cast a legendary spell.

The late game is about big flyers and a reset. Bladewing, Deathless Tyrant, Kothophed, Soul Hoarder and Zetalpa, Primal Dawn are enormous threats, and Etali, Primal Storm casts free spells whenever it attacks. Kaya's Wrath destroys all creatures and gains you life, Urza's Ruinous Blast exiles every nonlegendary permanent, and Primevals' Glorious Rebirth returns all legendary permanents from your graveyard.

Strengths & Weaknesses

Strengths: The deck's anthems stack, its creatures are all legendary, and its mana base has many dual lands. It also has plenty of interaction and protection, including Hero's Downfall, Mortify, Bedevil, Generous Gift and Unbreakable Formation.

Weaknesses: The deck is very reliant on its legendary creatures, so a board wipe or targeted removal on a lord can slow it down, and a lot of the legends are expensive. Dihada herself is not a creature, so she cannot attack.

Verdict
Legends' Legacy is a thematic deck with a simple plan: play legendary creatures, stack the anthems and win with an overwhelming board. It is a good choice for players who like building around a theme, and it has a lot of room for upgrades.
