Overview
Most Wanted exploits one of the broadest tribal umbrellas in Magic. The outlaw creature type covers Assassins, Mercenaries, Pirates, Rogues, and Warlocks, giving the deck access to an enormous card pool drawn from years of releases. Olivia, Opulent Outlaw rewards attacking with any of these by creating Treasure tokens, and the deck can spend those Treasures to place counters on every creature simultaneously, turning a wide board into a lethal strike force very quickly.
The secondary commander Vihaan, Goldwaker adds a different angle entirely: at the start of combat he can animate all your Treasures into 3/3 Construct Assassin creature tokens for the turn, effectively turning a pile of mana rocks into a surprise army. With Olivia on the board those animated Treasures also create more Treasures when they deal damage, generating a self-reinforcing loop of gold and aggression.
Key Cards
Playing the Deck
The opening turns focus on deploying outlaws and establishing a Treasure income. Sol Ring, Arcane Signet, and the colour-paired signets provide early mana to get Olivia down on curve. Captain Lannery Storm is an ideal turn three play: a Pirate who creates a Treasure on attack and sacrifices Treasures to become temporarily larger, bridging the early and mid game efficiently.
The mid game is about stacking Treasures and protecting the board long enough for Vihaan to join. Rankle, Master of Pranks applies pressure while disrupting opponents through his selectable triggered abilities. Rain of Riches gives the first spell you cast each turn cascade as long as you have Treasures, dramatically amplifying explosive turns. Breena, the Demagogue draws cards and grows while the rest of the table fights among themselves.
The late game often ends in a single combat step. With Vihaan on the battlefield and a pile of Treasures accumulated, every Treasure becomes a 3/3 hasty attacker for the turn. Combine that with Olivia's counter ability — pay three mana, sacrifice two Treasures, put two counters on every creature — and a board of eight animated Treasures can become a board of eight 5/5 creatures swinging for lethal in one turn. Dire Fleet Ravager can whittle life totals down ahead of this final push.
Strengths & Weaknesses
Strengths: The outlaw umbrella provides flexibility: there are very strong outlaws across every rarity and era of Magic, making upgrades easy to identify. The Treasure generation scales automatically with the number of creatures attacking, meaning the engine grows as the board grows. Vihaan's Treasure animation provides an unexpected lethal swing that opponents often do not see coming.
Weaknesses: The deck needs both Olivia and Vihaan to operate at full efficiency, requiring two commanders to be live simultaneously. Mass artifact removal (Shatterstorm, Vandalblast) can wipe out a large Treasure stockpile and set the deck back significantly. The strategy is also telegraphed: opponents who see Treasures accumulating know the board-wide attack is coming and will act to remove Vihaan before combat.
